  • 1 can of yumeat™ Plant-Based Luncheon, cut into 2cm cubes
  • ½ yellow onion, diced
  • 600g mashed potatoes
  • 400g cooked mixed vegetables, such as carrots, broccoli, capsicum, asparagus… anything you like, chopped up
  • 40g or 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fried eggs and some side salad for serving (optional)



  1. In a flat frying pan , melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and fry gently until soft and translucent.
  2. Add Plant-Based Luncheon and heat for 5 minutes until fragrant and slightly crispy. Stir in mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper. You are aiming to brown (not burn) the vegetables, so occasionally press the mixture into the pan to brown a little before turning.
  3. Cook the other side to brown and remove from heat.
  4. Serve with some fried eggs and salad.
